Just read on MassDevice that BSX had another round of layoffs on July 31, 2026, affecting around ? employees. Seems like the main impact is in Ireland and Costa Rica according to the article. Anyone there have firsthand info on this? Curious to know if it was across multiple departments or concentrated in specific areas. Also, is there any indication if these were performance-based, role eliminations, or something else? Always tough to see this happen, especially when it's reported externally before any major internal communication, or at least that's how it feels from the outside looking in. Hoping those impacted land on their feet quickly.

Heard whispers about this. It's never good news when people lose their jobs, regardless of the company. I'd be interested to hear if there's a clear pattern to these cuts or if it's more scattered. Hopefully, those affected land on their feet quickly. This industry can be quite volatile, and unfortunately, these situations do arise periodically. I'm sure many are hoping for more transparency from the company regarding the reasons behind these decisions.
