BMS - Anyone else feeling the pressure/uncertainty?

Hey all, been at BMS for a few years now, and lately, the vibe just feels... off. Not sure if it's just my department or a broader thing, but there's a lot of quiet chatter. People seem a bit more guarded, and there's a definite increase in 'head down, work hard' mentality. No major news dropped, but the general hum of uncertainty is palpable. Lots of talk about efficiency and optimizing resources. I've seen some projects get a longer leash than expected, and others seem to be on the chopping block with little fanfare. Wondering if others are picking up on this or if I'm just overthinking things. Anyone else in a similar boat or have any insights into what might be brewing? Trying to stay positive and focused, but the undercurrent is hard to ignore.

Yeah, I'm feeling it too. It's not just you. There's been a shift, for sure. More focus on internal metrics and less on the broader picture, or at least that's how it feels from where I'm sitting. Makes it hard to stay motivated when you're not sure what the long-term plan really is. Hope things stabilize soon.

I've noticed the same undercurrent. 'Optimizing resources' can mean a lot of different things, and not all of them are good for employee morale or project momentum. It's wise to be aware of the changes and how they might impact your role and team. Staying adaptable will be key in the coming months.
