I was part of the group let go on the 16th, and the whole process felt incredibly cold. I didn't get any clear answers on why my department was gutted while others remained untouched. Regarding the severance, the package is decent, but it comes with a lot of legal hoops to jump through. It feels like they were more focused on protecting the company's image than respecting the people who gave years to the floor. Checking in with HR has been a nightmare; nobody wants to give a straight answer about the official transition date or benefits coverage.
