Been at BF for a while and things have felt a bit... tense lately. It's not just my team; I'm hearing whispers from colleagues in other departments about increased workload without additional resources. Project scopes seem to be expanding, but the headcount isn't following. There's also a lot more talk about efficiency and 'doing more with less'. It's starting to feel like a precursor to something, though I have no concrete information. Just trying to gauge the general sentiment. Is this just the usual business cycle pressure, or does it feel like something more significant is brewing? Would appreciate any insights or similar observations from others.

I've been seeing similar patterns. The focus on 'efficiency' definitely feels more pronounced than usual, and the project creep is real. It’s tough when expectations keep rising but the support structure isn't adapting. Trying to stay optimistic, but it's hard not to feel the squeeze when you're constantly asked to stretch resources thinner.

Totally get where you're coming from. The 'do more with less' mantra has been getting a lot of airtime, and you can feel the strain across the board. It's definitely a noticeable shift from how things used to be. Hoping it's just a phase and not a sign of bigger changes on the horizon.
