Brown-Forman: Anyone else seeing resource tightening?

Hey everyone. I've been at B-F for a few years now and lately, it feels like there's a general tightening of resources across the board. Budgets for travel and training seem to be shrinking, and there's been a lot of talk about 'efficiency' and 'optimization' in recent all-hands meetings. It's not outright layoffs that I've heard of, but the vibe feels... cautious. Projects are being scrutinized more heavily, and some new initiatives seem to be on hold or scaled back. Is anyone else picking up on this? Wondering if it's just my department or if it's a company-wide sentiment. Curious to hear if others are experiencing something similar or if I'm overthinking it.

Yeah, I'm definitely feeling that too. It seems like every expense is under a microscope lately. Even small things that used to get approved without a second thought are now requiring extra justification. It's making it harder to get necessary resources for my team's projects, and honestly, it's a bit frustrating. The constant talk of efficiency is starting to feel like a euphemism for doing more with less, which is never a sustainable path in the long run. Hopefully, this is just a temporary phase.
