Just wanted to see if anyone else is noticing some subtle changes at Brown-Forman that might indicate upcoming cost-cutting measures. It's not a full-blown layoff announcement, and I haven't seen any official reports, but there are little things. Hiring freezes in certain non-critical areas, a tighter rein on travel expenses, and some projects seem to be on the back burner longer than usual. The 'efficiency' buzzwords are definitely being used more frequently in official communications. I'm in Operations, and while my team is stable for now, the general sentiment is one of uncertainty. Wondering if anyone in other divisions, like Sales or IT, are seeing similar trends or have heard any more specific rumors. Trying to prepare for the worst while hoping for the best, but the lack of clear communication is making it tough.

I've picked up on similar vibes. It feels like a general tightening of the belt, not necessarily panic, but a definite recalibration. The 'efficiency' talk is definitely more pronounced than it used to be, and I've noticed a few non-essential budget lines getting a much harder look.
