My team's been trying to get approval for a new role for months, and it keeps getting pushed back or outright denied with vague "budgetary constraints" reasons. Usually, we're pretty fluid with hiring, especially for critical areas. Even internal transfers seem to be on hold. Has anyone else experienced this?
