Cadence - Quiet period or something more?

Hey everyone, been seeing a lot of talk about potential changes across the industry, and wanted to see if anyone at Cadence is feeling a similar vibe internally. It's been pretty quiet on the official front, no major announcements or anything, but there's this undercurrent of uncertainty. Performance reviews just wrapped up, and some of the feedback felt a bit more pointed than usual, maybe hinting at restructuring or departmental shifts. Anyone else noticing changes in project scope, hiring freezes on certain teams, or even just a general shift in management's tone? Trying to gauge if this is just a normal Q1/Q2 ebb and flow or if there's something brewing that we should be aware of. Not trying to cause panic, just trying to stay informed. Curious to hear what others are seeing or hearing, especially in R&D or customer-facing roles.

I've definitely noticed a shift in tone lately. Performance reviews did feel a little more intense than I'm used to, and some project priorities seem to be in flux. It's hard to say if it's just the usual end-of-year cycle or something bigger brewing. I'm hoping it's just a standard recalibration and not a sign of major upheaval. Anyone heard any whispers about specific departments being affected?

That quietness can be unsettling, for sure. While I haven't seen any drastic changes on my team yet, I agree there's a general feeling of anticipation, or maybe even a bit of apprehension, within the company. The performance review feedback was a bit sharper this time around, prompting me to re-evaluate my own contributions and future within the company. Curious to see if any official word comes out soon.
