Cadence - What's the vibe in Engineering lately?

Hey everyone, Been seeing some chatter around the usual channels, but nothing concrete. Wondering if anyone else has picked up on any rumblings within the engineering orgs at Cadence? Been here a few years and things have always felt pretty stable, but lately there's just a general sense of... waiting? Hard to put my finger on it. No official comms, no WARN notices, but you can feel it in the air sometimes. Morale seems okay, but projects feel a bit uncertain in terms of priorities shifting. Is anyone else feeling this or am I just overthinking based on industry trends? Curious to hear what others are hearing or observing, especially from different departments. Just looking for some perspective beyond my immediate team.

I've noticed a similar feeling. It's not quite a negative vibe, more like a collective holding of breath. Priorities do seem to be shifting more than usual, making long-term planning feel a bit like navigating fog. People are still focused on their work, but there's definitely an undercurrent of anticipation. Hoping it's just standard industry ebb and flow, but it's hard to ignore the subtle changes. Glad I'm not the only one feeling it.

Yeah, 'waiting' is a good word for it. It feels like there might be some strategic re-evaluation happening behind the scenes. Project scopes have definitely been a moving target lately, which can be frustrating when you're trying to deliver. Morale isn't tanking, but the uncertainty about what's next is definitely a drag. Hopefully, whatever is brewing will lead to clarity and renewed focus soon. Fingers crossed.
