Cadence Layoffs? Anyone hearing whispers or seeing signs?

Hey everyone, Been seeing some chatter on other platforms and just wanted to see if anyone here at Cadence has any concrete info or has noticed anything unusual? It feels like the tech industry is still pretty volatile, and while I haven't seen any official announcements or direct reports of layoffs at Cadence specifically, there's always that underlying anxiety. Are performance reviews coming up? Any unusual hiring freezes? Is anyone's team or department seeing restructuring? I'm in R&D, and things seem stable on the surface, but you never know what's happening behind closed doors. Just looking for some honest insights from colleagues. Trying to get a sense of the general sentiment. Any intel, even anecdotal, would be appreciated. Trying to stay informed without falling into panic mode. Thanks.

I haven't personally heard anything concrete about layoffs, but you're right, the general tech climate has everyone a bit on edge. I'm in a different department, but haven't seen any hiring freezes or major restructuring on my end. Performance reviews are due soon though, which always adds a layer of uncertainty. Hopefully, it's just industry-wide jitters and not specific to us.

Interesting question. I'm in sales, and while things are busy, I haven't picked up any direct signals of layoffs. We did have a few budget meetings recently that felt a bit tighter than usual, but that could just be standard fiscal planning. Keep an eye out for any official communications, that's usually the first place things will show up.
