I was impacted by the recent changes, and the package is strictly following the standard two-weeks-per-year formula. Don't expect any special treatment or additional bonuses regardless of your performance reviews or KPIs. It’s a very corporate, by-the-book approach that prioritizes their bottom line over long-term tenure. My advice is to stop stressing over the quarterly reviews and focus entirely on updating your resume. It is frustrating that management won't provide transparency, but in my experience, the silence usually means they are trying to minimize liability before the next round of cuts hits.
Hang in there. I know the silence from leadership is maddening, but that is standard operating procedure here. Based on what I've heard from colleagues in the MD group, the severance offer isn't exceeding the company minimum, so do not bank on a surprise windfall. It feels like they are just checking boxes to clear out staff as quietly as possible. If you are feeling anxious, use that energy to reach out to your network now while you are still employed. The lack of communication is a major red flag, so look after yourself first because the company certainly isn't.
