Anyone else feeling the pressure to pick up the slack?

So, with the latest headcount reduction hitting us, my manager just pinged me saying we need to 're-prioritize' the remaining deliverables. That’s corporate speak for 'do the work of three people for the same salary.' I’m already hitting 50+ hours a week, and now the expectations are getting even more unrealistic. Is anyone else seeing a massive spike in 'urgent' tickets now that half the team is gone? I’m seriously considering quiet quitting at this point. There’s no incentive to go above and beyond when the company treats talent like disposable assets. I’ve been looking at openings elsewhere, but the market feels just as jittery as we are. How is everyone else coping with the increased workload? I’m honestly just trying to keep my head down and not get flagged for 'low performance' while I’m barely keeping my head above water.

Same here. Ever since the latest round of cuts, my inbox has been an absolute nightmare. My lead keeps talking about 'synergy' and 'efficiency,' but we all know that's just a mask for burnout. I’ve stopped checking Slack after 6 PM because there’s literally no end to the requests. If they aren't going to backfill those roles, they shouldn't expect the same output. I’m doing the bare minimum until I find something else. It's not worth my sanity.
