Internal mobility seems to have dried up

I've been looking to move teams internally for a while now, and it feels like all the doors have suddenly slammed shut. Open reqs are few and far between, and when they do pop up, the process seems incredibly slow or they just disappear. Used to be pretty easy to find new opportunities within Capital One, but lately, it's been a ghost town. Has anyone else experienced this? Makes you wonder what's going on behind the scenes. Is this just a general market thing, or is there something specific happening at Cap One? Trying to stay optimistic about my future here, but the lack of internal movement is definitely concerning.

I've noticed the same thing. It's definitely frustrating when you're trying to grow your career within the company and the internal path feels blocked. It seems like the hiring managers are either really hesitant to bring anyone in, or the requisitions are being held up somewhere in the approval process. I've applied for a few roles myself over the past few months and the silence has been deafening. It makes you start to question your long-term prospects here, which is a shame because I genuinely like working for Capital One, but this lack of internal movement is a big concern.
