Cardinal Health - Feeling the pressure, or is it just me?

Hey everyone, been with Cardinal Health for a few years now and lately, things have felt...different. Not sure if it's just my department or a broader company-wide thing, but there's a definite undercurrent of anxiety. Meetings seem to be focused a lot on efficiency and 'optimizing resources.' Heard a few whispers about projects being shelved and some roles being 'evaluated.' I'm trying not to jump to conclusions, but the silence from leadership on what this actually means is pretty deafening. Anyone else picking up on this? Trying to gauge if I should be updating my resume or if this is just standard corporate churn. Hoping for some clarity, or at least some shared experience here. What's the general feeling out there?

I'm feeling it too. It seems like every other week there's a new initiative to 'streamline' things, and it just adds more work to our plates. The constant talk about efficiency without clear direction is unsettling. Honestly, it makes it hard to plan or feel secure about the future. I wish they'd be more transparent about what's really going on instead of letting rumors fly.

I haven't been there as long as you, but I've definitely noticed a shift in the atmosphere. The 'optimizing resources' language is a red flag for sure. It often precedes budget cuts or headcount reductions. It's frustrating when leadership isn't upfront. Keeping your head down and doing good work is probably the best approach for now, but I understand the concern.
