Carrier's future - is a big shakeup coming?

Hey everyone, been lurking here for a while, mostly reading about other companies. But I work at Carrier and lately, the vibe feels... off. There's been a lot of talk about restructuring and 'synergies' since the split, but it feels like more than just that. People are a bit jumpy, especially in some of the older divisions. Management's been cagey when asked about headcount, just lots of buzzwords. Anyone else picked up on this? Is it just me reading too much into things, or is there some behind-the-scenes prep happening? Worried about job security, especially with the current economic climate. Not seeing any official announcements, but the whispers are getting louder.

It's understandable that there would be internal adjustments and talk of optimization to stay competitive. Keep an eye on their earnings reports and any official statements regarding strategic realignments. Often, these periods of perceived uncertainty precede focused efforts to streamline operations or invest in new growth areas.
