Heard through the grapevine that most departments at Carrier are under a pretty strict hiring freeze right now, even for roles that were previously open. This wasn't the case even a few months ago. Also noticed some external recruiters have stopped reaching out with Carrier opportunities, which usually means something is up internally. Combined with the general economic uncertainty, it makes me wonder if we're heading for some larger workforce adjustments down the line.
