The disconnect between leadership and the floor is widening

Is it just me, or has the communication from management completely devolved into pure corporate jargon lately? We keep hearing about 'transformation' and 'value creation,' yet the reality on the ground is just fewer resources and more people being shown the door. The latest round in Bethesda just underscores how little they care about retention or morale. I’ve been looking at the numbers and the way we’re operating, and it honestly feels like we’re being gutted for short-term gains to appease shareholders before the next earnings call. I’m tired of the town halls where they refuse to address the elephant in the room. If you’re currently working on projects that seem to be getting deprioritized, start updating your resume now. I’ve started testing the market, and honestly, the lack of transparency here is making the decision to leave a lot easier. This isn't the same company I joined a few years ago.

It is honestly exhausting. Every time they roll out a new 'strategic vision' slide deck, it’s just code for another round of cuts. They talk about lean operations and global synergy while the actual work becomes impossible because they’ve gutted the teams that keep the lights on. It’s not just a disconnect; it’s a total lack of respect for the people who actually built the reputation this company is currently coasting on. Morale is at an all-time low because we all know exactly what those buzzwords mean for our future.

I've been watching the same patterns. The 'transformation' narrative is nothing more than window dressing to keep the shareholders happy while the actual engine of the company struggles. It is frustrating to see so much emphasis on short-term margin expansion at the expense of long-term stability and employee retention. When the guys in the corner offices are focused solely on quarterly metrics, the people actually doing the engineering and operations are the first to get squeezed. It is clear that we are no longer a priority in their current strategy.
