Considering career options outside of CAT

Been with Caterpillar for a while now, and while it's been a solid ride, I'm starting to feel a bit… stagnant. With all the talk about economic headwinds and shifts in the heavy equipment sector, I'm wondering if now is the time to explore other avenues. Not necessarily because I'm anticipating layoffs *here* specifically, but more about long-term career security and growth. Have any of you made a move from CAT to another industry recently? What was the transition like? I'm interested in how transferable skills are perceived, especially outside of manufacturing. Any advice on what sectors are currently looking strong and might be a good fit for someone with my background? Trying to be proactive rather than reactive, you know?
