Anyone else noticing a hiring freeze or reduced headcount at CBRE?

I'm in the process of interviewing for a role at CBRE and it's been a bit of a strange experience. The hiring process has been really drawn out, with a lot of back-and-forth and what feels like uncertainty from the hiring manager's side. We've had several calls where the role was described, then they'd go silent for weeks, only to resurface with 'we're still evaluating our needs'. It's making me wonder if they've actually put a freeze on hiring or are actively looking to reduce headcount in certain areas, even if they aren't admitting it openly. Has anyone else applied or been interviewing at CBRE recently and experienced this? Or perhaps if you're currently employed there, have you noticed fewer new hires coming in or a general slowdown in recruitment? Trying to understand the internal hiring landscape before I get too invested in this process.
