CBRE - Anyone else feeling the pressure or hearing whispers?

Hey everyone, been with CBRE for a few years now and lately, the vibe has been...tense. Not hearing any official announcements, and my direct manager is tight-lipped, but there's definitely an undercurrent of uncertainty. Seeing some projects get put on hold, and hiring freezes in a few departments that were usually active. Just wondering if anyone else is picking up on this, or if it's just my specific group. Trying not to panic, but it's hard to ignore the shift. Anyone in different divisions or locations noticing similar things? Curious to hear if others are seeing the same signals or if things are business as usual for them. Trying to gauge the general sentiment across the company without causing undue alarm. Just looking for some honest observations from fellow employees.

Yeah, I've definitely felt a shift in atmosphere recently. Things seem a bit tighter, and there's less of the usual chatter about expansion. It's not anything concrete, but you can sense a general cautiousness that wasn't there before. I'm in a different division, and while I haven't heard any specific whispers about cutbacks, there's definitely a heightened focus on efficiency and performance metrics. Projects that might have been greenlit more readily in the past seem to require more justification now. It feels like the company is adopting a more conservative approach to investments and departmental growth. It's a noticeable change from even a year ago.
