Anyone else getting a weird vibe at CBRE lately? Our team lead was talking about 'efficiency gains' and 'streamlining processes' in our last team sync. It felt a little… coded. Usually, these kinds of buzzwords come before something happens. We haven't had any official announcements or anything, but it's making me a bit nervous. Been here a few years and this feels different from the usual 'do more with less' talk. Anyone hearing similar things or have any intel on what might be brewing? Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the gut feeling is there.

I'm with you. 'Streamlining processes' can mean a lot of things, and not always positive for the rank-and-file. It's the lack of transparency that's the most concerning part. When leadership starts using those kinds of buzzwords without clear context, it's usually a sign that decisions are being made behind closed doors. Fingers crossed it's just a new initiative and not something more serious.
