Market slowdown impacting CBRE workflow?

Been in commercial real estate for a while, and this current market is a brutal reminder of how cyclical things can get. Seeing a lot of deals stalling, valuations are all over the place, and frankly, it feels like the transaction volume is just drying up. Given CBRE's massive scale and reliance on deal flow, I can't imagine this doesn't eventually trickle down. I'm not seeing any official layoff news, but the economic headwinds are undeniable. Are brokers and advisors feeling this directly yet? Any operational teams seeing a slowdown in onboarding or support requests? Just trying to get a sense of how the broader economic climate is playing out internally at CBRE. It feels like a matter of 'when' not 'if' for some adjustments, given the industry pressures.

Totally feel this. It's the quiet before the storm, or maybe the storm has already hit and we're just in the eye of it. Hard to say. The sheer amount of capital sitting on the sidelines is incredible, but no one wants to be the first to jump back in. CBRE's business model is so tied to that transactional momentum. I've heard whispers internally about projects being re-evaluated and hiring freezes, even if nothing's public. It's a wait-and-see game right now, but the pressure has to be mounting for them.
