Hey everyone, has anyone else been getting a weird vibe around Celanese lately? Been hearing a lot of low murmurs about potential restructuring or budget cuts in certain departments, especially in some of the older, legacy business units. Nothing concrete, of course, just the usual office gossip mill churning. Been with the company for a few years now, and while things seem stable on the surface, there's a certain hesitancy in leadership discussions that feels... different. Anyone else picking up on this? Trying to get a sense if this is company-wide or just isolated to a few areas. Curious if anyone has heard anything more specific or if it's just the usual pre-holiday jitters.

Yeah, I've definitely felt a shift too. It's subtle, but there's a definite 'wait and see' attitude creeping in. My department hasn't seen any direct impacts yet, but the energy feels different. Less proactive, more reactive. I've also heard similar rumors about legacy units, which makes sense given market pressures. Hopefully, it's just standard business cycle stuff and not a sign of bigger issues.
