Cencora: Anyone else notice internal hiring chill?

Been hearing a lot of whispers internally at Cencora lately. Not official word, mind you, but a definite slowdown in new reqs being posted and some internal teams are saying their budgets for new hires are on hold. It's not a full freeze, from what I can tell, but definitely a noticeable shift from the last year or so. Anyone else in a different department picking up on this? Is this just a seasonal thing or something more? Curious to hear if others are seeing similar signals. Not trying to spread panic, just gather some intel.

Yeah, I've been feeling that too. It's definitely not as easy to get approval for new headcount as it was even six months ago. My team has a couple of roles we'd like to fill, but the budget discussion has been pushed back multiple times. I'm wondering if it's related to the broader economic climate or if there are specific internal strategic shifts happening that we're not fully aware of. It's a bit unsettling when you're trying to grow your team and the doors seem to be closing a little.
