I’ve been hearing a lot of talk from folks in the Philly office about some quiet restructuring starting in the middle management layer. It’s the usual red flag—people are being told their roles are 'evolving' and they need to re-interview for their own seats, or they’re being transitioned into 'special projects' that sound like dead ends. Haven’t seen any formal announcements yet, but the energy in the office is incredibly tense. If you’re seeing similar stuff in your org, please post. It feels like they are clearing the deck for something before year-end, but they aren't calling it a layoff yet.

Same vibe over here. The 'evolving' language is such a transparent way to avoid using the actual layoff terminology. They’ve been trimming the fat for weeks under the guise of organizational alignment, but it’s clearly just cutting costs. Everyone is keeping their head down, but the rumors are definitely spreading faster than management can shut them down. Good luck to everyone currently caught in the middle of this mess.

I wouldn't hold your breath for a formal announcement anytime soon. They’ve been playing this game for a while now, pulling people into 1:1s to talk about 'new focus areas' while HR quietly scrubs internal access behind the scenes. The morale is basically non-existent at this point because nobody trusts the leadership to be transparent about the actual trajectory. If your gut is telling you to polish your resume, listen to it.
