Centene: Anyone else getting weird vibes from management?

The atmosphere lately is genuinely draining. Every one-on-one I have feels like it's being documented more heavily than usual, and there’s this weird silence whenever someone asks about long-term projects during staff meetings. It feels like we are all just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Leadership keeps pushing these aggressive 'productivity initiatives,' but the tools we have are outdated and the processes are broken. It’s hard to stay motivated when you feel like you’re just biding your time before a potential RIF. I’m tired of the corporate speak and the lack of transparency. If they are planning cuts, just get it over with so we can stop living in this state of perpetual paranoia. Anyone else feeling the same, or am I just reading too much into the lack of communication from the top?

I’ve been feeling the exact same way. It feels like everyone is walking on eggshells lately. The productivity demands are completely disconnected from the actual reality of our systems, which have been lagging for months. It’s impossible to hit those targets when you spend half the day fighting the software just to get basic tasks done. I’m definitely keeping my resume updated at this point because the lack of transparency in those meetings is getting harder to ignore.

Honestly, I stopped caring about the long-term vision months ago. Management loves to preach about efficiency while we’re still working with internal tools that feel like they belong in a museum. The constant monitoring makes it feel like they’re just looking for an excuse to trim the headcount rather than actually fix the broken workflows. Just do your work, keep your head down, and don’t invest too much emotional energy here. It’s clear they don't value the staff as much as the metrics.
