No official announcements or anything concrete, but there's been a definite uptick in whispers and hushed conversations around the office. My team's been pretty quiet on new projects, and a few familiar faces are suddenly hard to find. I'm trying to tell myself it's just the usual end-of-year budget shuffling or a typical seasonal dip, but the vibe is definitely different. Anyone else picking up on this? Seeing any unusual hiring freezes or project delays in other departments? Just trying to gauge if I should be updating my resume or if this is all in my head. I've been feeling that too. The quietness is definitely noticeable, and it's more than just the usual holiday lull. There have been a few strategic shifts I've observed that seem to be impacting team structures and project pipelines more significantly than previous years. Yeah, the office atmosphere has been a bit muted. I've noticed some departures, though no official word has been given, which always adds to the speculation.
