Hey everyone, Been seeing a lot of posts about hiring freezes and slowdowns at other companies, and I'm starting to wonder if Centene is quietly doing the same. Haven't heard any official word, but my team's been told to hold off on backfills for a bit, and the pipeline for new roles seems to have dried up considerably over the last month or so. Anyone else in a similar boat? Are you noticing fewer new reqs popping up, or has your team experienced hiring delays or freezes? It's making me a little uneasy, especially with the general economic climate. Curious to hear what others are experiencing across different departments. Is it just a seasonal lull, or something more substantial on the horizon? Trying not to jump to conclusions, but the silence is deafening. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm in a similar situation. My department has definitely slowed down on hiring. We had a few positions open that were supposed to be filled by now, but they're just... gone. No real explanation, just that things are on hold. It's definitely creating some extra work for the existing team, and the uncertainty is a bit unnerving. Hoping it's just a temporary dip and not a sign of bigger issues.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. A few weeks ago, my manager mentioned that they weren't able to approve new requisitions for the time being, and that pretty much all hiring had stopped except for a few critical roles. It's made it tough to get new people on board, and projects are feeling the strain. Makes you wonder what the company's strategy is right now.
