I totally get where you're coming from. It used to feel like we were doing meaningful work, but now it’s just a constant scramble to hit KPIs so the higher-ups can satisfy Wall Street. That looming fear before every meeting invite is draining the life out of the office. It’s hard to stay motivated when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder wondering if you’re the next one on the chopping block for the sake of 'efficiency.'
Honestly, the constant right-sizing is getting ridiculous. At this point, nobody is surprised when another WARN notice hits because the expectation of stability has been gone for a long time. They talk about operational improvements, but it really feels like they are just stripping the departments down to the bare bones. It’s impossible to focus on quality member outcomes when everyone is just trying to survive the next round of cuts.
