Anyone else feel a weird vibe at CenterPoint lately?

Hey everyone, been with CenterPoint for a few years now, mostly in operations. Lately, it feels like there's been a weird shift. Management seems more tight-lipped than usual, and there's this undercurrent of 'wait and see' that I can't quite shake. We've had the usual budget discussions, but they feel... different. More guarded. Has anyone else picked up on this? Are there any internal rumors I'm missing? I'm not hearing anything concrete about layoffs, but the general quietness is making me a little uneasy, especially with the economic climate. Just trying to gauge if this is a company-wide thing or if I'm overthinking it. Curious to hear if others are feeling this too.

Yeah, I've definitely felt it too, even from the outside looking in. There's a noticeable lack of transparency lately, which breeds uncertainty. Budgets are always tough, but this feels like more than just standard financial tightening. The silence from leadership is what's most unsettling. I can confirm that feeling. Working within the company, the atmosphere has been noticeably tense. Information flow has been heavily restricted, and there's a general sense of caution. While no one is outright saying anything negative, the reluctance to share details about future projects or departmental plans is palpable. It's creating a bit of anxiety among staff as we try to navigate the current climate without much guidance.
