Anyone else feeling the vibe shift at Ceridian lately?

Hey everyone, been at Ceridian for a few years now, mostly on the product side. Lately, things feel... different. Not sure if it's just my department or a company-wide thing, but there's a palpable sense of caution. Projects are getting re-prioritized more frequently, and there's a lot more emphasis on 'efficiency' and 'optimization.' Hiring seems to have definitely slowed down, at least for non-critical roles. Been hearing whispers about budget reviews and a general tightening of the belt. Just wondering if others are experiencing this too, or if I'm just in a bubble. Anyone else seeing similar trends or hearing anything concrete about what's going on behind the scenes?

Yeah, I'm picking up on it too, though I'm in a different division. Definitely seeing more project pivots and a general feeling of 'hunker down.' The constant re-evaluations are making long-term planning feel a bit dicey. Seems like the focus has shifted from rapid expansion to consolidating what we have and making it run leaner. Not necessarily bad, but it's a noticeable change in pace and priorities.

Interesting to hear others feel it. My team has been hearing a lot about 'strategic alignment' and 'resource optimization' lately. It does feel like there's less appetite for speculative projects and more pressure to demonstrate immediate ROI. Hiring has definitely been slower on our end too, with a lot more scrutiny on headcount requests. It's a shift from the growth-oriented mindset of a couple of years ago.
