Anyone else notice more 'role consolidation' happening at Ceridian?

Okay, I'm trying to be subtle here, but I've been seeing a lot of what feels like 'role consolidation' happening across different departments at Ceridian. It's not outright layoffs that I've heard of, but more like existing roles are being expanded to cover responsibilities previously held by other positions that are now vacant or 'frozen.' For example, in my team, we lost a QA engineer a few months back and now two other engineers are essentially splitting those duties on top of their own workload. HR keeps saying it's about 'efficiency' and 'streamlining,' but it feels like a slow bleed. Wondering if this is happening elsewhere in the company. Is this a precursor to something bigger, or just a cost-saving measure that's going to lead to burnout?
