Anyone else hearing whispers about potential restructuring at CF?

Been at CF for about 4 years now, working in the supply chain team. Lately, there's been a weird vibe. Meetings are getting rescheduled last minute, and there's a lot of hushed conversations happening around the office. My manager is being super cagey when I ask about Q3 projections, which is not like them. Just wondering if anyone else in other departments (maybe engineering or R&D?) are seeing similar signs? Trying to get a sense if this is company-wide or just a localized thing. Honestly, just nervous about job security, especially with the way the market's been.

Hey there. I'm in manufacturing at the Mississippi plant, and yeah, things have felt a bit off lately. We've had some equipment maintenance schedules pushed back, and there was talk about optimizing our shift patterns, which usually isn't something we hear about unless there's a bigger picture shift. My supervisor is also being pretty tight-lipped about upcoming production targets. It's definitely adding to the general unease. I'm hoping it's just normal end-of-year planning, but it's hard to shake the feeling something's brewing.

Hmm, 'whispers' and 'weird vibe' sounds a little dramatic. I've been in finance here for six years, and honestly, Q3 projections are *always* a bit of a moving target, especially with commodity prices. Last-minute meeting changes happen all the time when urgent budget reviews come up. Unless you're seeing concrete evidence like layoffs or a public statement, I'd take a deep breath. Corporate restructuring is a massive undertaking; it's usually not something that just creeps in through 'hushed conversations'.
