CF Industries: Anyone else notice the hiring freeze talk?

Hey everyone, been seeing some chatter on internal Slack channels and overhearing whispers in the breakroom about a potential hiring freeze being put in place, or at least a significant slowdown. Doesn't seem to be any official communication yet, but it's definitely creating a buzz. I've been with CF for a few years now and things have always felt pretty stable, but this feels different. My team's been trying to backfill a couple of open roles for months with no luck, and the budget requests for new projects are apparently getting a lot more scrutiny. Just wondering if anyone else has heard similar things or has any insights into what might be going on. Is this a company-wide thing or specific to certain departments? Feels like a potential precursor to something bigger, but maybe I'm just overthinking it given the general economic climate.

I've also heard rumblings about a slowdown. It's concerning, especially since the company has seemed so solid recently. My department has a few critical positions we've been trying to fill, and the lack of progress is definitely starting to impact our workload. Hoping for some clarity soon.

Interesting. My team hasn't experienced a hiring freeze directly, but we have noticed the process for new hires taking significantly longer. It's making it tough to bring in fresh talent and keep projects moving. Fingers crossed it's just a temporary measure and not a sign of bigger issues.
