Okay, I know there are no confirmed layoffs at CF Industries yet, but the rumors are persistent. I've been in my current role in operations for almost 7 years, and I've never been through a layoff before. If it does happen, I want to be prepared. Does anyone have experience with severance packages from CF or similar chemical companies? What's typically included? Weeks per year of service? Continued benefits? Outplacement services? Trying to get a realistic picture of what to expect, or at least what to push for if the worst happens. Any insights would be super helpful.

The standard was usually a week's pay for every year of service, plus a few extra weeks if you hit certain milestones or were in a management role. Benefits usually continued for 60-90 days, and outplacement services were offered, though honestly, they were pretty basic.
