I have a final-round interview next week for a Senior Financial Consultant position at a Schwab branch. I've done my research on the company and the role, but I'm really nervous about acing it. Any current or former employees have advice on what they're looking for? Specific skills or experiences they value? Also, any insight on the team environment or culture would be greatly appreciated. I really want this job!

Focus on your sales skills and how you build rapport with clients. They want to see you can bring in and retain assets. Also, brush up on their investment products and services so you can speak intelligently about them. Show genuine enthusiasm for helping people achieve their financial goals.

Be prepared for questions about compliance and ethics. Schwab is *very* strict about that stuff. Don't even joke about bending the rules. As for team environment, it's branch-dependent. Some are great, others are cutthroat and highly competitive. Try to get a feel for that during the interview by asking questions about team collaboration and support.
