Chevron - Anyone else feeling the pressure? (Layoff Rumors)

Okay, I'm going to put this out there because I'm starting to get genuinely concerned. There's been a LOT of talk on other forums and even some backchannel chats about significant layoffs potentially coming to Chevron. Some posts are talking about 10-20% reductions across the board. While I haven't seen any official announcements, the silence from management is deafening. My manager deflected direct questions about team stability, which is never a good sign. Our project pipeline seems a bit shaky too, with some key initiatives being scaled back. Is anyone else in a similar boat?
