Totally feel this. It's like they expect us to be magicians, pulling better sales numbers and faster service out of thin air while we're already stretched thin. The staffing just hasn't kept up with the demands, and it shows. You're busting your tail, and the goalposts keep moving. It's definitely a recipe for burnout if things don't change.
Yeah, the pressure to do more with less is definitely palpable. Seems like every week there's a new initiative or a tighter target, but the same number of hands on deck. It makes those rush periods feel absolutely insane. I wish management would acknowledge the reality of the workload and maybe invest in more support so we can actually meet these lofty expectations without sacrificing our sanity.
