Chipotle - Anyone else notice fewer new hires lately?

Hey all, been working at Chipotle for a few years now, and I've started to notice a trend that feels a bit off. It used to be that whenever a new store opened up, or even just when we had openings at my current location, they were always hiring pretty aggressively. We'd have a steady stream of interviews and new faces in training. Lately though, it feels like the tap has been turned down. My manager mentioned they're being more selective with hiring, and we haven't had any new hires in months, even though we're still short-staffed during peak times. It's making the remaining crew work even harder, which is tough. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this at their Chipotle? Is it a sign of slower growth, or maybe just a temporary hiring freeze? Curious to hear what others are experiencing.
