Chipotle - Is it just me or are they cutting back hours?

Been working at Chipotle for a couple of years now and lately, it feels like the hours are just drying up. Used to be pretty consistent, but over the last few months, it seems like management is really trying to keep labor costs down. I've seen a few people get their shifts cut significantly, and even the full-timers aren't getting the hours they used to. We're still busy, especially during peak times, so it doesn't make much sense from an operational standpoint. Just wondering if anyone else at Chipotle is noticing this trend? Are they preparing for something, or is this just a standard slow period I'm not used to? Worried about how I'm going to make ends meet if this keeps up.

I've noticed something similar at my local Chipotle. It's definitely not as packed with staff as it used to be, even during the dinner rush. You can tell they're trying to be lean with staffing. Maybe it's a company-wide thing, or maybe it's just certain franchises. It's a bummer if people are losing hours, especially when the demand seems to be there. Hopefully, it's a temporary adjustment and not a permanent change.

Yeah, I've heard this from a friend who works at Chipotle. They mentioned that corporate has been pushing for stricter labor budgets lately. It's frustrating for the employees, for sure. They're still serving tons of customers, but the team is stretched thin. It's a tough balance to strike between controlling costs and keeping your workforce happy and present. Definitely not just you feeling this.
