Anyone else seeing the CA WARN notices for July?

Just saw the latest WARN filing pop up for the 29 roles being cut in July. It’s always the same story—a quiet Tuesday notification followed by a 'restructuring' email from leadership that doesn't actually explain how they chose the departments. I’ve been here long enough to know these small tranches are usually just the start of a rolling process. Is anyone hearing whispers about which divisions are actually being hit, or are we all just waiting for the calendar invite from HR? The silence in the office is deafening, and the lack of transparency is starting to feel like a standard operating procedure rather than a one-time thing. Everyone is keeping their heads down, but the morale is basically non-existent at this point.

It is honestly exhausting waiting for the other shoe to drop every single quarter. I have heard rumors that the commercial lines team is being targeted this time around, but management loves to keep us in the dark until the very last second. Every time I see a WARN notice, I start brushing up my resume because the 'restructuring' narrative never leads to anything positive for the rank and file. The lack of transparency regarding the selection process makes it impossible to feel secure, so just assume everyone is at risk and keep your network active.

I have been watching these filings closely, and it really feels like the company is just slicing pieces off the pie one department at a time to keep the headcount costs down. The leadership team’s internal messaging is always so vague, focusing on 'strategic alignment' while ignoring the fact that actual people are losing their livelihoods. If you are in one of the departments currently being shuffled, protect your data and start looking elsewhere immediately. Relying on the official communication channel is a trap—if you hear whispers from your manager, believe them.
