Chubb - Is it just me or are workloads insane?

Seriously, is anyone else drowning in work at Chubb right now? It feels like every week there's more expected of us, but the headcount hasn't changed, or in some areas, it's even decreased. I'm constantly working late just to keep up, and even then, some things are falling through the cracks. It's not just my department either; I've talked to people in other divisions, and they're saying the same thing. Feels like we're being set up to fail, or they're just trying to see how much they can squeeze out of us before... well, before whatever comes next. Not trying to be alarmist, but the pressure is really mounting. Anyone have any advice on how to manage this or any insights into why things are so stretched?

Yeah, I'm feeling this heavily. It seems like the company is expecting pre-pandemic productivity levels with fewer resources. It's definitely creating a lot of stress and burnout. I've noticed a decline in the quality of some tasks because we're just rushing to get through them. It's a tough environment right now, and it's worrying to see the impact it's having on morale and even our ability to do our jobs effectively.

You're not alone. I've seen projects get pushed back or have deadlines moved up without any adjustment to the resources available. It makes you wonder if leadership truly understands the day-to-day reality of the workload. It’s frustrating to feel like you’re constantly battling against an overwhelming tide of tasks, and that the pressure is just going to keep building. Hoping things change soon.
