Couple that with some internal murmurs about 'streamlining operations' and 'optimizing resource allocation' – standard corporate speak, I know, but it's making me nervous. Yeah, the performance review vibe has definitely shifted here too. It feels like the goalposts moved mid-game, and even solid performers are getting nitpicked. I've noticed the same thing. My review felt unusually tough, focusing on minor things instead of the big picture achievements. The 'operational efficiency' buzzwords are everywhere, and it's hard not to feel a sense of impending change.
