Chubb - Rumors about restructuring impacting IT?

Hearing some chatter about potential organizational changes within the IT division at Chubb. Nothing official, of course, but the usual 'sources say' type of information is circulating. Apparently, there's a focus on consolidating some roles and potentially outsourcing certain functions to cut costs. I'm in infrastructure support, and we've been told to 'brace for impact' without much clarification. Feels like management is being intentionally vague, which is never a good sign. Anyone in IT at Chubb got more solid intel or hearing the same? Trying to understand the scope and if it's truly widespread or just a targeted team shuffle. Appreciate any insights.

This kind of talk always makes people anxious, especially when it's unclear. 'Brace for impact' without details is classic vague management speak. Hopefully, it's not as bad as it sounds, but that vagueness usually means something is indeed changing, and not necessarily for the better for everyone. Keeping an ear to the ground for more concrete info, if any surfaces.

I've heard similar whispers from a few different folks, though also nothing concrete yet. The cost-cutting angle makes sense given the current economic climate. It's the uncertainty that's the worst part. If there are layoffs or significant role changes, transparency would at least allow people to start planning. Let's hope for a clear communication soon, whatever the outcome.
