Confirmed: Another 29 cut in CA office

Just saw the WARN notice hit for the end of June/early July. It looks like 29 roles got the axe in the CA office as of the filing on the 30th. It’s becoming a bit of a pattern lately, honestly. Management keeps preaching about 'operational efficiency' and 'streamlining workflows,' but it just feels like the usual quarterly death by a thousand cuts. If you’re in one of the impacted departments, I hope the severance package is at least decent. I’ve been hearing rumblings about more restructuring coming down the pipeline for Q3, so keep your resume updated regardless of how safe you think your specific team is. Everyone I know is just keeping their head down and doing the bare minimum until the next round of town halls. Does anyone know if they are offering any internal mobility for the impacted folks, or is this a straight exit?

It is getting harder to ignore the pattern at this point. Every time leadership mentions 'synergies' or 'operational efficiency' in an internal memo, the rest of us just wait for the other shoe to drop. Losing 29 people in one office is a significant blow, especially when the communication is so vague. You have to wonder how long they plan to keep up these incremental cuts before it starts impacting the quality of the work we are actually producing. Stay safe out there.

That WARN notice is just the latest confirmation that no department is really safe right now. Honestly, the morale here has been tanking for months because the leadership team never gives a straight answer about the long-term strategy. It feels like they are just trimming the headcount to appease shareholders at the expense of everyone on the ground. I really feel for the folks in the CA office; having your position eliminated is never easy, especially when the writing has been on the wall for so long.
