Feeling the Pinch at C&D - Anyone Else?

Is it just me, or has the general atmosphere at Church & Dwight become more... tense? Feels like there's a lot more scrutiny on spending and resources lately. Budgets seem tighter, and there's a lot of focus on efficiency. I've seen a few internal communications that feel a bit more like warnings than standard updates. It's making me a little nervous about job security, even though there haven't been any official announcements. Just wondering if others are feeling this pressure too, or if I'm overthinking it. It's hard to get a clear read on things when everything is so vague. Has anyone had conversations with their manager about future team structures or staffing levels? Curious to hear what others are experiencing on the ground level. Any insights would be appreciated.

I've definitely noticed a shift in communication and how resources are being managed. It feels like a concerted effort to optimize everything, which can sometimes create that 'tightening the belt' vibe. While it's understandable in the current economic climate, it's also natural for employees to feel a bit more cautious when efficiency becomes the primary focus. Hopefully, it leads to positive long-term stability for the company.

Yeah, the emphasis on cost savings and efficiency has been palpable. There's a definite sense of increased oversight on departmental budgets and expenditures.
