Quiet cuts happening in Ewing too?

It’s not just Lancaster. I’ve noticed a few seats emptying out here at the Ewing campus over the last couple of weeks without any formal announcements. Management keeps talking about 'operational efficiency' and 'synergies' in every all-hands, but we all know that’s just code for headcount reduction. The vibe in the office is incredibly tense right now. You walk past a conference room and everyone goes silent. I know the WARN notice for Lancaster just hit, but I’m worried this is part of a much larger, slow-motion RIF that’s going to ripple across every department before the end of Q2. If anyone else is seeing weird calendar invites or unexpected departures, please speak up. It helps to know if I'm just being paranoid or if the writing is truly on the wall for the rest of us.

The silence in Ewing is deafening right now. I’ve seen the same thing—people clearing out their desks quietly, often mid-day with no internal announcement or email blast. Leadership keeps leaning on that 'operational efficiency' buzzword, but we’ve all been through enough corporate restructurings to know what that actually means for our jobs. It’s impossible to focus when you’re constantly looking over your shoulder wondering if you’re next. The lack of transparency from the top is definitely not helping the morale. People are just waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Honestly, I’m not surprised. If you look at how things have been shifting over the past few quarters, it was only a matter of time before they started trimming the headcount here in Ewing as well. That corporate talk about 'synergies' is just a distraction while they sharpen the knife. It’s pretty brutal how they’re handling it, too—just letting people vanish without a word to the rest of the team. I’d definitely update your resume if I were you, because if Lancaster is already seeing WARN notices, the rest of the company is likely on the same trajectory.
