It is the same old story every single quarter. They talk about streamlining operations and synergy while the rest of us are left constantly looking over our shoulders wondering who is next. At this point, the revolving door of layoffs has become part of the corporate culture. It is honestly exhausting to watch talented people get pushed out just to satisfy quarterly projections. If you have been impacted, start updating your resume immediately; the job market is tough, but you are better off finding a place that actually values its workforce instead of treating employees like disposable line items on a spreadsheet.
Another day, another round of cuts. It is frustrating to see the company prioritize stock buybacks and dividends while thinning out the very people who do the actual heavy lifting. I am not surprised, but I am certainly disappointed. The morale in the office is at an all-time low, and the constant threat of these notifications makes it impossible to focus on long-term projects. Hopefully, those affected land on their feet quickly. Stay strong and keep your network updated, because loyalty here is clearly a one-way street.
