Is it just me, or does the culture here feel completely hollowed out? Between the quiet layoffs and the increasing 'return to office' pressure despite the lack of desk space or team synergy, I don’t know why anyone stays. We hear about massive profits and then see notices like the Morris Plains cuts, and management acts like it's just 'optimizing the business.' It’s dehumanizing. I’ve been here for a few years and I’ve seen my entire original team replaced or let go. There’s no loyalty left, yet they expect us to grind like we’re part of some noble mission. At this point, I’m just logging in to keep the paycheck coming while I spend my afternoons interviewing with competitors. If you're still here, I hope you're using this time to update your resume and networking off-platform. Don't let this place burn you out before you find an exit strategy.

It’s not just you. The culture has completely shifted from what it was a few years ago. Everything feels performative now, and the disconnect between the leadership's talk about 'synergy' and the reality of working in an overcrowded office is infuriating. When you see teams being gutted while the company reports record profits, the 'optimization' buzzword starts to feel like a personal insult. It’s hard to stay motivated when you’re constantly wondering if you’re next on the chopping block, especially when the work environment has become so sterile and transactional.

Honestly, I’m just waiting for my vesting period to end so I can jump ship. The morale problem is systemic. They treat us like line items on a spreadsheet, not human beings contributing to the actual operations. The RTO mandate is the final straw for many of us—forcing people to commute just to sit on Zoom calls in a shared space is the definition of micromanagement. The lack of transparency regarding the cuts is toxic, and it’s clear that loyalty is a one-way street here. You aren't imagining things; this place has burned out its best people.
