Anyone else feeling the pinch at Cintas right now?

Hey everyone, been with Cintas for a few years now in a mid-level management role. Lately, things just feel...off. There's been a lot of talk about 'optimizing operations' and 'streamlining processes,' which usually makes me nervous. My team's workload has increased significantly, but we haven't seen any corresponding headcount changes. On top of that, there's a general air of quiet anxiety among colleagues. People are being careful about what they say, and there's less casual chatter than usual. Has anyone else in other departments or regions noticed similar trends? Wondering if I'm overthinking it or if there's something brewing under the surface. Just trying to gauge the general sentiment.

I've noticed something similar. The 'optimization' talk always feels like a precursor to something unpleasant, doesn't it? My department is swamped too, and it feels like they expect us to just absorb more without any additional support. It's creating a lot of stress. Plus, the hushed tones and avoidance of certain topics are definitely creating a weird atmosphere. Makes you wonder what's really going on behind the scenes.

Yep, the pressure is definitely on. Seems like the company is pushing for more output with less input, which is a classic playbook. It's tough when you see your team struggling to keep up and you can't offer them the resources they need. The uncertainty and the feeling that you have to watch what you say is draining. Hopefully, it's just a temporary phase and not the new norm.
